This weekend, there was a mix of events happening in Bansko.
The Feel Bansko event had participants “…breathing in the rhythm of the mountain", where the sensory tour took people into sounds, aromas and views, and the yoga in nature brought them back to themselves. See some photos here.
Then there was the Balkan Music Festival, which ran over two days and offered people music from performers from Macedonia, Greece and Bulgaria. This was "...incredible evenings full of dancing, emotions and lots of open-air music," where people experienced "... emotions, music and unforgettable moments." See some photos here.

Before You Go…
We’re now in the latter half of August, and the summer events calendar in Bansko still has a few more main events to come!
From the Bansko Opera Fest on the 28th to 30th, the Three Mountains Rock Fest on 5th to 7th September, to Unique Bansko’s culinary festival on the 5th, 6th & 7th of September (Unification Day weekend [6th]). It’s still a packed few weeks with many people expected to be in town.
Also, the final handicraft demonstrations will take place on the last weekend of August at the Tourist Information Center (details will be in the events section next week; this coming Friday, there’s a demonstration of Bulgarian cuisine).
It also looks like Pirinsko’s (aka Carlsberg’s) Clean the Mountain Project for 2025 has been fully cancelled in the region due to the recent forest fires.
