Bansko Nomad Fest

If you’re in Bansko at the moment, you might have already seen the town feeling a little busier than usual, with nomads and wanderers returning to town before the nomad fest begins on Sunday (22nd).
The Bansko Nomad Fest organisers are expecting around 750 people to attend the event. It all starts next Sunday, from around 5pm (either in the town square or in the town park, location to be confirmed) when attendees will meet for registration and a group photo. Then, every day, presentations are held in the main lecture halls in town, and in the afternoons, unconferences and other events will take place in the town park.
From the 22nd to the 29th, if you’re thinking about going out for lunch or dinner, consider making a reservation. Additionally, please note that due to other events occurring in Bansko and its surrounding towns during the same period, a large number of individuals may be present in town at the same time.
Bansko Nomad Festival
Starting on Sunday (22 June) for an entire week, join fellow digital nomads, business owners, and entrepreneurs for 50+ expert speakers delivering talks on entrepreneurship, remote work, personal development, travel, adventure, and much more.
Over 100 unconference sessions, with workshops, keynote talks, and networking events. In 2024, there were over 800 participants from 43 countries, so you’ll make some great connections.

Before You Go…
It appears that all the places reopening for the summer season have now opened. Alpen (where the old Casa di Papi used to be) reopened today for the season, and their outside space looks nice!
I took a quick look at Tipsy360 the other day (due to open at the start of July). Everything looks like it’s coming along well: it’s in the same location as Bar 360 used to be, and the outside decking area looks quite spacious. Inside, there’s some tartan wallpaper and a similar layout to how it was before: let’s hope there aren’t the insane queues for the toilets like there were before, though.
