Summer is officially here in Bansko, with the Nomad Fest (BNF) being the first main event of the summer 2025 calendar. There are more events next weekend, including a parade by youth bands & orchestras, the opening & closing ceremonies for the European Rafting Competition, and the 14th annual Festival of Traditional People.
Later this week, the local Tourist Information Center is expected to publish the finalised summer events calendar for Bansko. This will include the usual cultural evenings, craft fairs, museum tours, and art exhibitions, which start in July, as well as the popular larger events, such as the Rock Festival in July and the Jazz Fest in August.
Razlog Municipality has also announced some summer events. Combining those with Bansko’s will make July & August jamm-packed with variety.
It looks like this summer is going to be full of great weather and amazing events!

Before You Go…
It’s been getting busier and busier recently in town (not surprising, with BNF starting today). Pirin 75 has been bursting at the seams with people, so it’s great that Tipsy360 has now pencilled in its opening night party for Friday 4th of July (I spoke to Kris yesterday to confirm the date).
Fingers crossed they complete all of the renovations and the place opens on the 4th. It’s a great space up there and it’ll be a much-needed additional bar/place to hang out with friends and meet new people. And, of course, the cheesy music and some funky dance moves 😀.
Oh, and the name of the Bansko Buzz Bee? The winning entry has been selected, and the name has been chosen. I’ll announce it in issue 52 (first birthday!) of the Bansko Buzz 😉.
