Summer has officially arrived in Bansko, and the local municipality has continued its spring-summer regeneration project, planting more flowers & trees, and repairs to pavements & walls throughout the town.
Various types of flowers in different beautiful colours have been planted in the town square, in the park (where the fountain is now operational), on Gotse Delchev Street, and on Pirin Street. It does look like Bansko is looking colourful right now and ready for BNF to kick off the start of the summer events.
See photos from around the town here.

Bulgaria Likely to Adopt Euro in January 2026
On Wednesday, the European Central Bank (ECB) removed any restrictions to prevent Bulgaria from joining the Euro. There is now one more hurdle: a vote in July by the EUās political arm. If thatās a yes vote, then its final stage will need to be adopted into Bulgarian law by the parliament in Sofia (which is usually a formality).

Before You Goā¦
Sooooo, Coworking Bansko did a slight rebrand and I find it all a bit⦠weird. They have a mascot now whoās a pumpkin (named Pumpi š¤·). Apparently, Pumpi is the ācult leaderā and āofficial villan of Coworking Banskoā. See the announcement here.
Well, at least CWB has finally admitted what a lot of us have suspected for some time š.
If youāre in town over the next couple of weeks, remember that the weather is unpredictable, so carry an umbrella or rain jacket with you.
